The 2025 Subaru Outback offers two engine options: a standard 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine producing 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque and a turbocharged 2.4-liter BOXER® engine with 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, delivering optimal stability and control in all driving conditions. The Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) enhances fuel efficiency and smooth acceleration, while paddle shifters in higher trims provide a more engaging driving experience.
